With this series I am interested in pushing extreme fictional and sci-fi action movie sequences of destruction into a more physical space. When glitched, the motion and CGI utilized in these clips create bright pools of color and an infinite variation of shapes. Stills are pulled from these moments and turned into digital prints, which get adhered and layered on top of one another. Then, they are taken through a reductive process by physically cutting into and tearing each layer to reveal the one beneath, creating an abstract illusion of depth and form.
