My work explores interpersonal and transpersonal experiences through a mediated environment, which is the Internet. In utilizing modern forms of communication, such as webcams, Instant Messenger and MySpace, I am documenting interactions with people I meet, or have not met, online. Once on display in a museum/gallery context, the Internet becomes a specimen to be investigated and better understood. Such an objective view can help us realize where we are, where we have come from and where we are going, in our relationships with each other and the technology that surrounds us.
